Women do you enjoy leading a guy on and turning him away?

I have had a lot of women lately that I go to school with and work with that have led me on (given me their number, texted with me and flirted with me) and then all the sudden they decide that they only want to "be friends". It seems like women know what they are doing and yet they continue doing it as if they get some kind of satisfaction from it. Do you enjoy this or is this just from unfortunate experience?
