Because you are a minor the most likely result will be the insurance company taking your dad to court and sue him for the damages and will have to pay because you were not a licensed driver -- with a learners permit you have to have a licensed driver over 18 with you and you didnt so thats why your dad has to pay until your 18 hes responsible
