A Series Of Unfortunate Events Train Incident?

For anyone who has read this series, can someone please tell me which book involves the incident that involved the Baudelaire orphans locked in Count Olaf's car on the train tracks? I thought it was the first book, but my sister just read it and claims it's not in the story. It's driving me nuts. Which book is it in!?
