Why are so many lesbians not attractive?

I'm bisexual (I think) and this is just a general and unfortunate observation I made. A lot of gay girls- most actually- are pretty darn weird looking. Like, the ones I've seen pictures of are all singularly unattractive and as a sort of newly initiated lgbt member- not meaning to sound shallow but- this makes me slightly worried. Is it just me or are cute lesbians really that hard to find?
