Is the president able effect the price of gas/oil...How would you deal with the problem if YOU were POTUS?

Government can lower the taxes imposed. 18 cents federal and almost as much by the state and local government. Supply and demand. I live in so called conservative TX where every fat momma and daddy drives a fat suv or pick up. WASTE!
