Is it an insect bite taking long to heal or worse herpes?

On saturday night I was sleeping while being bitten all over my face by mosquitos, I wasn't truly disturbed till i felt a bite or a strong piercing pain above my lip. I checked it on immediately, it wasn't red but i could tell it would become so. It is now tuesday night and it is red and swollen-ish still, I am worried if this is herpes or just an unfortunate mosquito or insect bite.
